'Hebridean Hideaway' original linoprint
The outer Hebrides, specifically Barra, is my absolute favourite place on Earth….in our family we call it ‘Barradise’!
This is an original reduction linoprint in a limited edition of only 26 prints, and is based on a beautiful red roofed cottage just south of Tragic Mhor, which I’ve always imagined would be a wonderful place to live.
This is a reduction print, comprising of six layers, you can see some of this process in the photos here. In total it took around two months to produce these prints, by hand, in my small home studio in the Scottish Highlands.
Printed on Kent paper, using cranfield inks. Image size approximately 8” x 6”, please note that due to the handprinted nature of my work there will be slights variations in each individual print.
