Orca original linoprint
‘Orcas in the light’ is an original linoprint of a mother and calf orca in a limited edition of only 14 prints. It is a reduction print which means a layer is printed, then carved away to print the next layer etc, this allows for different colours to be printed and I’ve added some photos of the process here.
Image size approximately A4, handprinted using cranfield caligo inks on acid free Kent paper 190gsm in off white.
Due to the handmade nature of my work there will be variations in each print, making them all truly unique.
Please note that these prints will be posted in a postal tube, and should be unrolled and lay flat for a few days before mounting and framing.
